Forouzan H. Grigsby
Forouzan Hezaveh Grigsby was born in Tehran, Iran, during the last monarchial government (Pahlavi dynasty) followed by a revolution and a war. She grew up in a family which nourished a rich Persian culture and various classical literature. Books were her favorite gifts to receive. She loved to travel through the stories that he read for her when gazing at the moon and stars of the vivid night skies of Tehran.
Destiny brought Forouzan to Northern Virginia, where she lives with her husband and her daughter. Forouzan put her full-time career (International Cultural Tourism and Event Planning) on hold to fully enjoy motherhood, and every bit of the beauty it offers. She enjoys bonding with her only daughter and doing volunteer jobs at her school. Writing has become her passion and hobby, supplemented by various types of graphic arts.
Her passion now is to share light with the world through writing, especially for children. She believes that if children can learn to tap within, to their true selves, they will not have to rely only on outer tools for their true happiness.
